Trinkets FAQ

  • Is it only necessary to have 1 [Trinkets] token adjacent to the turret? Can I place the others within the radius at will, rather than needing them to be adjacent to other [Trinkets] tokens of the same type?

That’s what “at least one” means, yes.

  • I mixed up Trinkets' Rapid Deployment cards while adding the update pack. How do I identify the updated card?

Look at the bottom right corner of the illustration. The new cards have a watermark there.

  • Is Trinkets turret a targetable unit? Can it be attacked?

  • Does Trinkets' turret get removed when he dies?

If something isn’t mentioned in the rules and/or card text, it’s not a thing.

  • Do trinkets barrier tokens affect the total? It has a +1 shield icon, but it's not "their card and items"

Apply the exact same logic to all cards affecting defense.

  • Since trinkets turret is not a token, what happens when it's sitting on a minion spawn point and the minion has to spawn?

Page 8 of the rulebook. Blue textbox.

  • For Trinkets' Disruptor (blue T3), with "discard or is defeated": if someone decides to use their primary action, are they allowed to backtrack and use movement instead when they realize Trinkets' T3 blue is in play? Likewise for his T2, where the primary action forces a discard: can someone take back their primary action after announcing it and use movement instead to avoid the discard?

Raw - no. But read the room. Treat it as any other of many types of misplays which can lead to player’s defeat. Let them take it back or not, depending on the play group and how “serious” you want to take the game.

  • If someone is between Trinkets and the turret, does that still count as a straight line, given you "draw" the lines in opposite directions?

Yes. The card refers to two straight lines.
